2012 Fellowship Dues
According to its fellowship dues policy, the Maine Conference increases/decreases its annual fellowship dues rate according to a COLA. The actual COLA driven rate adjustment plus any additional amount approved at the Annual Meeting then becomes the Maine Conference fellowship dues rate for the ensuing year.
The 2012 Conference Budget approved in June, estimated the cost-of-living adjustment (COLA) for the fellowship dues rate at about 2.2%. In addition, the Annual Meeting voted to increase the fellowship dues rate by 44 cents per member.
The Social Security Administration’s announced COLA is 3.6% (versus the Conference’s 2.2% estimate of the COLA). This means that the 2011 Annual Meeting’s approved fellowship dues rate for the Year 2012 contains an increase of 92 cents resulting in a $14.37 rate per member for the 2012 calendar year.
